Dr. Swain
Dr. Swain received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, graduating with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He went on to attend medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Swain completed his Family Medicine Residency at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Dr. Swain relocated to Central Texas in 2008 as part of his continued service in the U.S. Army, where he served as the Officer in Charge of both the Bennett and Monroe Health Clinics on Fort Hood. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, he also played a key role in the education and training of new physicians at the Family Medicine Residency Program at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.
In 2011, Dr. Swain transitioned from military service to civilian practice, joining Freedom Urgent Care in Harker Heights as a Staff Physician. His passion for serving the local community led him to establish Modoc Family Medicine, which was created to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals and families in Central Texas. In 2017, Dr. Swain joined Wellstone Health Partners, where he continues to practice Family Medicine in Killeen, Texas.
Dr. Swain specializes in Family Medicine and is a BioTE® Certified Practitioner, offering bio-identical hormone replacement therapy for both men and women. His approach to care is rooted in preventive medicine, patient education, and evidence-based treatments designed to help patients achieve long-term wellness.
